LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY
The Hendricks County Retired Teachers Association annually awards a $1000 scholarship to a local county high school senior who will be majoring in education at a 4-year degree Indiana Public or Private accredited college/university. Financial need is not a consideration.
The 2022 Scholarship Application is posted below. Notice the guidelines and due date of April 15, 2022. Please send all applications to Carol Reimer @ creimer53@gmail.com. Hendricks County Retired Teachers Association Senior Scholarship Application
Due Date: March 1, 2022 is the starting date, and it must be turned in by April 15, 2022 at creimer53@gmail.com.
The $1,000.00 scholarship is awarded annually to a Hendricks County senior who is majoring in education/teaching and has been accepted into a four year accredited Indiana college or university. The student receiving the award is to apply it towards tuition. Proof of enrollment (a copy of the tuition bill, etc.) is to be sent to the Treasurer of the HCRTA, who will make the check co-payable to the recipient and the college/university. Should a scholarship winner not meet these conditions, the award will be granted to another eligible applicant.
